surgery

So, I don't remember if I mentioned this before or not but I've been very sick. Apparently my gallbladder is not functioning at all. I have gallstones but they don't really change anything since the gallbladder has to come out anyway. I've spent a lot of time with different doctors and such this past month or so. I am having surgery tomorrow to remove the gallbladder. We are all (doctors and me and chad) hoping that that is the only problem. We won't know for sure until I recover from the surgery. If I do then that was all that's wrong but if I don't then we're going to do an endoscopy (scope down the throat) to see if there's anything else going on in the there. Basically I just don't feel good and I get really nasceous when I eat. We tested me for a myriad of things before we discovered the gallstones which then led us to the fact that my gallbladder isn't working at all. More recently I've started feeling the discomfort that's associated with a non-functioning gallbladder but I didn't have any pain before which is why we didn't check it first. The surgery is no big deal because I've been through worse ones but we're just keeping our fingers crossed that I feel better afterward. Just thought I'd share for anyone who's interested.

what's new

Sorry about not posting in a while. I'm going to try and get back into it. I just wanted to let everyone know what's new over here since I last posted. I guess there's not a lot of news. I enrolled in school. I was almost finished with my associates degree when I dropped out. I'm going to finish that. I will also be getting certificates in Deaf studies and interpreter preparation. I am very excited because I finally know what I want to do. Took me long enough! Chad's home in the middle of the week so he can watch Jade. I am very excited and very nervious. I start in January! Yay for going back to school!
