what's new

Sorry about not posting in a while. I'm going to try and get back into it. I just wanted to let everyone know what's new over here since I last posted. I guess there's not a lot of news. I enrolled in school. I was almost finished with my associates degree when I dropped out. I'm going to finish that. I will also be getting certificates in Deaf studies and interpreter preparation. I am very excited because I finally know what I want to do. Took me long enough! Chad's home in the middle of the week so he can watch Jade. I am very excited and very nervious. I start in January! Yay for going back to school!

We had a party for Jade's birthday yesterday. She is now one!! I can't believe it!

She's my big girl now!! She had lots of fun scraping the icing off of her very own cake. She even got some up her nose. She was a mess.

Amazing Chad

I have always tried to relate music to myself and usually it only works if I tweak a few words or a concept or two. It's rare when I find a song that expresses how I feel entirely. Martina McBride has a new song called "I just call you mine" that does this for me. I feel so lucky and so blessed to be married to the most amazing person I've ever met. He is my best friend and the love of my life. I may sound a little biased but I know that it's true; he is...amazing. I posted the song on here for anyone that wants to hear it. It's the third song down. The first part is her being interviewed by the today show. She starts singing around 4:20. I hope you all enjoy.

We are getting closer to getting the house. We will both be terribly disappointed if we don't but we expect that we will. Everyone is hopeful. The guy who was living there even moved out already. My realtor said it's a matter of weeks left! I'm counting them down.

We spent a week and a half in Utah with my family. We had lots of fun. Jade learned how to scoot and started holding her bottle by herself more. She had a lot of fun playing with cousins.

We started real food this week. She's been doing pretty good so far. What a mess!
